The Law of Polarity
The teaching
Hot and cold are both temperature. Strength and overwhelm can be the same force at different volumes. This is why we do not teach good cards and bad cards.
Light: you can name both faces of a card without panicking. The Sun can warm and it can glare. The Fool can trust and it can refuse to look. Polarity makes you a more honest reader.
Shadow: black-and-white thinking. If it is not light, it must be a curse. If I feel the shadow, I am a bad person. Polarity twisted becomes another kind of fear theatre.
In a spread: always ask the light question and the shadow question. Then ask which pole this table is actually sitting toward.
Why this belongs here: light and shadow are a spine of this training. Polarity is the principle underneath that spine.
Discernment: both poles can be present. A card can be kind and avoided at once. You do not have to pick a team. You have to say what is here.
