Mercury

Mercury, in this old language, is contact. Mind. Speech. Hands. The movement of information from one place to another. The messenger, the maker, the talker, the trickster. Not a planet you have to find in the sky tonight. A quality: something is being named, carried, or crafted.

You already know this in ordinary life. A message that arrives too fast. A clever workaround. A conversation that actually lands. A conversation that is only spin. Hands that can fix a thing. A mind that will not stay on one subject.

A reader lives in Mercury all day. You interpret. You choose words. You decide whether to be clear or impressive. If you cannot feel this quality, you will miss the Magician as a speaker, the Pages as news, the Swords as thought, and the simple fact that a reading is a message.
