Neptune

Dissolve, dream, the sea. Compassion, and fog. Optional. Use only if it is living.

Neptune is the dissolve. Imagination, mercy, the blur between you and the rest. Beautiful when it is true. A leak when it is not.

What this is

Dream, ideal, union, fog, music, the thing that will not keep an outline. A modern map sometimes sits Neptune with The Moon or The Hanged Man. Tide, surrender, image, the veil.

Why it matters

Readings need mercy. They also need an outline. Neptune without a shore is how you rescue, merge, and miss the question.

How to recognise it

Sea, mist, a halo, a sacrifice, a dream, a saviour story, a question that keeps dissolving every time you try to name it.

How to use it

Ask whether this is compassion or fog. If the quality is not living in you, skip it. The image of water is still there without the planet's name.

Light

Compassion. Imagination in service of truth. Surrender that is chosen. A dream that can be lived in a body.

Shadow

Fog. Rescue fantasies. Refusing the outline of a life. Merge as disappearance. Ideal as a way not to see.

Example

The Moon in a love question. Neptunian flavour: image, longing, what is not yet solid. Light: mercy for what is forming. Shadow: you call a projection soul. Stay with the dogs, the crayfish, the path. The picture is already the teaching.

Practice

Compassion or fog

Pull a card. Write whether the weather is mercy or blur. If Neptune is not your language, write the same in water words and stop. That is a pass.
