Meditation

Body noticing

Feet to head, ten seconds. Sensation is information. It is not proof of a prophecy.

A scan with no story. Tight, warm, blank, busy. You do not have to assign a centre or a message. Noticing is the sit.

What this is

Move attention through the body with a bit of kindness. Noticing where you grip. Breathing toward that without a plot. Coming back to the room. If colour or sound already helps you, you can add it. You do not have to. Awareness is the lesson.

Why it matters

If you do not notice state, you will read your leftover afternoon as the spread. A flutter can be the card, or coffee, or a chair. Write it. Test it. If something in your body needs a doctor, you go to a doctor. Meditation does not replace that.

How to recognise it

You skip the body and live in the head. Or you turn every twinge into a sign. Both are imbalance. The middle is: note one thing, then look at the card.

How to use it

Before a card: scan, feet to head, ten seconds. Note one thing. During: if something shifts when you turn a card, note the shift. Do not halt the reading to hold a seance with your left shoulder. After: ask whether the body note belonged with the card or with your Tuesday.

Light

A vocabulary of sensation. Kindness toward grip. A reader who can come back to the feet.

Shadow

Diagnosing yourself from a tingle. Ignoring the body until it shouts. Using a scan as delay. Making the body the whole oracle.

Example

You pull a card. Before you interpret, you notice a tight jaw. You write it. The card is Page of Swords. Maybe the jaw belongs. Maybe you have been clenching since breakfast. Both go in the journal if they matter. You still look at the picture.

Practice

Card, then body

Sit. Feet on the floor. Move attention from feet to head, slowly. Write anything you notice. Then pull a card. Write whether the body note belongs with the card or with your Tuesday. Either answer is useful. Do not assign a chakra unless it arises after.

Reflection

Do you ignore your body when you read, or do you turn every twinge into a sign? Which way do you lean?
