The teaching
One is a seed and a spear. It is the first of a suit, a will, a I am here. It can be beautifully simple. It can also be isolated.
Light: a true start, a clean yes, a focus that can actually do something. Magician energy at its most honest. An Ace that wants tending, not a parade.
Shadow: all about me. A beginning that will not share the road. Loneliness mistaken for independence. A spark you never bother to put in the grate.
How it changes by suit: Wands, a spark of heat. Cups, a first opening of feeling. Swords, a single clear thought. Pentacles, a seed you can actually hold.
Discernment: one is not a guaranteed new job, baby, or romance. It is a point of origin. You still have to live the next nine numbers.
