The teaching
Two is relationship. Not only romance. Any pair: choice, mirror, argument, alliance, inner split. High Priestess as two pillars. Two of Cups as a toast. Two of Swords as a stalemate.
Light: genuine meeting, honest choice, balance that is alive rather than frozen. Two things allowed to be two.
Shadow: deadlock, people-pleasing, a choice you will not make so the swords stay crossed. Pairing as fusion, where one person disappears.
How to use it: always look at how the two are arranged. Facing, back to back, one larger, one leaving. The picture is the numerology. Do not file two as partnership and stop.
Discernment: two is not automatically a couple. In a career spread it can be a fork. In a body reading it can be a split in yourself. Ask the question.
