The teaching
Ten is the end of the numbered line and the door back to one. Wheel as ten, a turn. Ten of Pentacles, a household. Ten of Cups, a sky full of feeling. Ten of Wands, too many sticks. Ten of Swords, a floor.
Light: completion, enough, a lineage that holds, a feeling that can be shared, an ending that makes a beginning possible.
Shadow: burden, a gilded cage, a family script, a dramatic ending you keep rehearsing, success that flattened you. Ten can be too much harvest and no one to hand it to.
How to use it: ask what is finishing, and whether it should. In advice, ten may be put it down, share it, or let the cycle turn. In situation, ten may be the life you have built, for better or worse.
Discernment: ten is not automatically success, and it is not automatically ruin. Read the suit. Read the spine of the figure. Read the question. Then name the cycle.
