Patterns, repetition, missing numbers, cycles

Repetition: three cards that are all fives, or a spread that keeps serving nines. The quality is being emphasised. Say so before you name every card.

Sequence: a two sitting next to a three sitting next to a four. Movement through a cycle. Something is developing in order.

Jump: an Ace beside a Ten. Start slammed against completion. Ask what that collision is doing in the question.

Absence: a week of readings with no Aces. A spread with no cups numbered at all. Missing is not always meaningful. Sometimes you only pulled three cards. When it keeps happening, it is worth a sentence.

Ace through Ten is already a cycle inside each suit. Spreads replay that. So does a life. You start, you meet, you show, you build, it breaks, you repair, you test, you work, you almost, you complete, you start again.

The Wheel of Fortune sits over this conversation as a Major. You do not need the Wheel on the table to talk about a cycle. You do need the honesty to say where in the cycle this question is.

Do not turn a missing number into a curse. Do not turn a repeating number into a guarantee. Pattern is emphasis. It is not a verdict from the sky.

Imagine Five of Cups, Five of Wands, Five of Pentacles in one spread. Before you do three separate speeches, name the weather: disruption, the human mess, something the four did not plan for, in feeling, in conflict, and in belonging.

Then the positions and the question tell you whether this is a crisis, a clearing, or a habit. The pattern gave you the climate. The rest of the method gives you the reading.
