Ending
Ending is energy that has gone as far as this cycle will go. Harvest, floor, a door back to one. Do not decide in advance whether that is success or ruin.
What this is
A pile, a household, a sky full of cups, too many sticks, a skeleton, a dawn after Judgement. Ask what is finishing, and whether it should.
Why it matters
If you fear ending you will cling to nines and call it loyalty. If you romanticise ending you will throw a living thing away because a Ten looked dramatic.
How to recognise it
Fullness, a floor, a gate, a wreath, a load, figures in different states of yielding. Tens. Death. The World. Sometimes Four of Swords as a small death of the outer life.
How to use it
Read the suit and the spine. Ten of Pentacles is not Ten of Swords. Then name the cycle in human language. Put it down, share it, or let it turn.
Light
Completion. Enough. An ending that makes a beginning possible. A load you are allowed to stop carrying.
Shadow
A dramatic ending you keep rehearsing. Burden. A family script. Success that flattened you. Refusing to finish because identity lives in the almost.
Example
Death: a skeleton, a rose, figures yielding. Ending, transformation, a strange calm. If you only feel fear, check whether that is the card or you. The card may be still, inevitable, even clean. Your fear is allowed. It is not automatically the energy of the picture.

Pull a card. Write whether an ending is in the picture, and of what. No threat language. Then write a human next step: put down, share, complete, or not this card. Interpret.
