Growth

Plants, a child, a garden, a skill at a bench. Something is becoming more itself.

Growth is life adding to itself. Slow or fast, craft or garden, a child, a crop. It is not a glow-up slogan.

What this is

Empress gardens. Seven of Pentacles. Three of Pentacles. Page energy. Aces as seeds. Ask what is becoming.

Why it matters

If you skip growth you will only see crisis. If you romanticise it you will yank a plant because you wanted a forest by Friday.

How to recognise it

Leaves, fruit, a small person, a bench, a seed, more than there was. Also: growth that went past enough, Ten of Wands as too much harvest on one back.

How to use it

Name the crop and the time it wants. Seven of Pentacles is growth plus assessment. Do not file every green card as success.

Light

Tending. Skill. A garden. A child. A life that can add. Patience with a real crop.

Shadow

Forcing. Measuring worth by more. Growth as a brand. Never harvesting, never resting. Adding until the back breaks.

Example

Seven of Pentacles: a figure, a crop, a pause. Growth that needs looking at, not another project. Light: the work is working. Shadow: waiting forever, or disappointment that it is only this plant.

Practice

What is becoming

Pull a card. Write what, if anything, is growing in the picture. Then write the time it seems to want. Interpret. If nothing is growing, say so.
