Course/Chakras and Body Awareness

Lesson 03

Body awareness in practice

Notice where something is felt. Do not over-interpret it.

Observe first. Interpret second. Research third.

Notice where something is felt. Do not over-interpret it. The aim is a personal intuitive vocabulary, not a new way to scare yourself.

Sensation is not proof

A shiver can be intuition. It can also be a draught. A tight chest can be a no. It can also be last night's coffee, or grief, or the fact you have been holding your breath.

Teach yourself to observe sensations without automatically assuming that every physical sensation is a spiritual message. Write them down. See which ones keep company with accurate impressions. That is how a vocabulary forms.

If something in your body needs a doctor, you go to a doctor. Tarot does not replace that. Neither do chakras.

How to practise this

Before a card: scan, feet to head, ten seconds. Note one thing.

During: if something shifts when you turn a card, note the shift. Do not halt the reading to hold a seance with your left shoulder.

After: ask whether the body note belonged with the card or with your Tuesday. Either answer is useful. Both go in the journal if they matter.

Practice

Card, then body

Pull a card. Before you interpret, scan from feet to head. Write anything you notice. Then look at the card. Then ask whether the body note belongs with the card or with your Tuesday. Either answer is useful. Save it.

Activity

Three shifts, no conversion

For the next three cards you pull this week, write only: card name, body note, did it match. No chakra names unless they arise after. You are collecting data, not proving a system.

Reflection

Do you tend to ignore your body when you read, or do you turn every twinge into a sign? Which way do you lean?
